The BIEE’s second ” Future of Energy” lecture was given by Dieter Helm CBE, Professor of Energy Policy, University of Oxford, at the Royal Society in London. In this interview, recorded on May 11th shorlty after the General Election , he talks about energy and the recent election, UK vs European energy policy, the EU ETS ( emissons trading system ), prospects for shale gas, CCS and international climate agreements.
