Ed Davey confirmed as Keynote Speaker for BIEE 2015 conference

Ed Davey, the former Secretary of State at the Department of Energy and Climate Change will give the opening  address  at BIEE’s Sept 24 Energy Policy Conference. He is speaking in the first session, which looks at global discontinuities, on ‘Reducing Uncertainty in Energy Policy – can politics help?‘. Other speakers in this session include Prof Jonathan Stern from OIES and Seb Henbest from Bloomberg NEF.  Session 2 will look at the impact of discontinuities on UK energy policy. Other sessions include a panel debate on UK energy policy ‘Triumph or Travesty ?’ and panel members include Ian Marchant Bryony Worthington and Simon Virley. The day will finish with a session on the role of innovation with speakers from Shell the ETI and DECC.
