Energy Policy after the Election – Dieter Helm

The BIEE’s second ” Future of Energy” lecture will be given by Dieter Helm CBE, Professor of Energy Policy, University of Oxford, on May 11th 2015 at the Royal Society in London. By May 11th we should have the numbers even if perhaps not the final result of the General Election. Whatever the election outcome British energy policy faces big challenges for EMR, for the capacity and feed in tariff auctions, the Green Deal and the demand side. The lecture will set out the options and propose major reforms.
