Locational Marginal Pricing (LMP) in sharpening locational signals and incentivising supply and demand assets to locate and despatch where they can minimise whole system costs. The seminar will give participants an overview of the LMP concept, discuss how it works elsewhere in the world, along with the potential benefits and dis-benefits of adopting such an approach in GB.
